How to Create A Photo Badge Of Your Facebook

When I visited Seputeh and Kinrara MP teresakok blog yesterday, I found that she has a facebook photo badge there. Quite cool. Since I am a member of facebook as well, I`m interested to get mine as well. :)After some googling, I`ve managed to learned how to create a Facebook photo badge, it is pretty simple actually. So here are the steps.

Things You’ll Need:

  • Facebook account
  • Computer with Internet access

Create a Badge From a Template

Step 1:
Log on to your Facebook.

Step 2:

Click on the "My Profile" link to view your current profile after you have logged in.

Step 3:
Select the "Create a Profile Badge" link that can be found on your the bottom of your profile.

Step 4:
Choose a template to help create your badge. A photo badge showcases your most recent photo uploads. The Signature Badge has your contact information and is ideal for email and forum signatures. The blog badge is a great addition to your external Web site or blog.

Step 5:
Set the preferences for your template. While they may vary slightly, you must select a layout (Horizontal or Vertical) and a format (Image or JavaScript) for each template.

Step 6:
Finish making changes to your badge and click "Save" to get directions for posting your badge. You will need to copy and paste the provided code into the Web site where you want the badge to appear.

Create a Custom Badge

Step 1:
Show your individuality by choosing to "Create a Badge" from the "Create a Profile Badge" page.

Step 2:
Set the basic layout and format.

Step 3:
Add any items from the drop-down menu that you want to include in your badge. Click the "Add Item" button to add it to your badge. You may add more than one item. With no template, you can add anything you want to your badge. It will preview as you make additions.

Step 4:
Hit the "Save" button to complete your badge and get the necessary code to post it.

Hope all the MPs will join facebook and put up their facebook photo badge as well.
I knew that Anwar has Friendster, Myspace and Facebook!
BN need to really catch up on this.

My blog is down.

I`ve been experience connection timeout today with my wordpress blog at http://blog.winterwong.com.

This is strange as I was able to post this yesterday. I posted Malaysia political news on my blog so my initial thought of this is "hmm.. is Malaysia government try to ban blogger?"

I did some checking and found out that apparently my hosting company DNS servers is not contactable. Gee.. This is bad. Both primary and secondary DNS servers is not pingable.
So I did some dns resolutions and found that my hosting company few other DNS servers are ok and able to resolve my domain name.

Instead of putting 2 DNS names server, I`ve now updated it to include 4 DNS names server.

To take a preventive step ahead, I`ve also started my blog now at blogger. So I have to post in two places now until i find an automated way to do this.

"If it does not killed you, you will grow stronger"

Like vise, I will be making my blog more resillence now after the crash.
